For professional virtual production in Qatar, the Ultimatte 12 HD Mini provides two SDI video inputs, two SDI outputs, two HDMI inputs, and one HDMI output, with video input re-sync across all inputs. It supports SD and HD standards with 10-bit 4:2:2 processing and REC 601 and REC 709 color spaces. Foreground and background sources can be supplied through HDMI, while additional mattes and layers can be loaded from the internal Media Pool.
The integrated 6GB non-volatile storage supports background, alpha, layer, garbage matte, and holdout matte image formats. A built-in 2.2-inch color display provides video previews, audio meters, device status, menus, and video standard information. Control is available through Ethernet using Ultimatte Software Control or the optional Ultimatte Smart Remote 4.
The unit also supports Blackmagic camera control and tally when paired with compatible cameras and ATEM switchers.
