Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR is an advanced 8K monitoring solution that converts SDI sources to DisplayPort in HD, Ultra HD and 8K formats up to 4320p60. Designed for professional monitoring, it supports dual and quad link 12G-SDI for 8K workflows and provides flexible DisplayPort connectivity. The converter features four 12G-SDI HD/2K/4K/8K auto-switching inputs and four 12G-SDI loop outputs. DisplayPort connectivity includes two full-size DisplayPort connectors, with a single connector supporting 4K video and both connectors used for uncompressed 8K. A USB-C DisplayPort output is also provided for compatible passive DisplayPort over USB-C cables. Analog audio is available through two RCA channels, while embedded audio supports 16 channels on SDI loop outputs and 8 channels on DisplayPort outputs.

Multi-rate SDI support includes 1.5G, 3G, 6G, 12G, 2SI Dual Link 12G-SDI, 2SI Quad Link 12G-SDI and Square Division Quad Link 12G-SDI. Supported formats extend across HD, 2K DCI, Ultra HD, 4K DCI, 8K and 8K DCI, with automatic switching between 2SI and Square Division for 8K.

DisplayPort output supports HD, Ultra HD and 8K formats, with 5K and 6K standards based on the monitor's EDID. It supports REC 709 and REC 2020, YUV 4:2:2 and RGB 4:4:4, plus 33-point LUTs for monitoring and calibration.

Built-in waveform, RGB/YUV parade, vector and histogram scopes provide detailed signal analysis, with HDR graticules and picture overlay modes. HDR output can be configured for SDR, HLG or PQ.

Software upgrades are available through USB-C or Ethernet, while six buttons, a spin knob and a 2.2-inch color LCD provide settings control. The unit operates from 100–240V AC and consumes 35W.
