DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K is a low-profile PCI Express playback card designed for professional video monitoring from a computer. It combines 6G-SDI and HDMI 2.0a outputs, allowing playback of SD, HD, Ultra HD and 4K DCI formats up to 2160p30. Both connections automatically detect and switch between supported video formats for convenient monitoring.

The card supports a broad range of video standards, including 525i59.94 NTSC, 625i50 PAL, 720p, 1080p, 1080i, Ultra HD up to 2160p30 and 4K DCI at 23.98p, 24p and 25p. SDI also supports 2K DCI formats. Video sampling includes 4:4:4 and 4:2:2, while SDI provides up to 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2.

HDR support includes static metadata packing with HLG and PQ transfer characteristics. HDMI 2.0a supports Deep Color and HDR, with up to 12-bit color precision. Hardware-based real-time colorspace conversion is included, alongside software-based HD to SD down conversion and HD cross conversion.

Compatible applications include DaVinci Resolve, Fusion, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Avid Media Composer and numerous other professional video applications. The card supports Mac OS, Windows and Linux, consumes 10W, and includes both low-profile and full-height installation support through its supplied PCI Express shields.
