The Blackmagic Video Assist 7” 12G HDR adds professional monitoring and recording to SDI or HDMI cameras in HD, Ultra HD, 2K and 4K DCI formats. Its super bright 2500-nit 7-inch HDR monitor supports 3D LUTs and includes professional scopes, powerful focus assist and exposure tools for accurately setting focus, exposure and framing. Dual built-in SD card recorders save 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes or DNx files, while two mini XLR connections provide 48V phantom power and a noise floor of -128dBV for high-quality audio recording.
For professional filmmaking and broadcast workflows in Qatar, the monitor features a 7-inch 1920 x 1200 display with P3 wide color gamut and HDR support. Connectivity includes SDI and HDMI 2.0a inputs and outputs, two balanced mini XLR audio inputs, a 3.5mm headphone output and a 2.5mm LANC connection. Dual UHS-II SD slots support high-speed recording, while USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1 enables external drive recording, webcam output, setup, updates and Video Assist Utility control.
