The ZKTeco CR20E USB Proximity Card Reader is designed for card enrolment, user identification, attendance management, and access control administration in Bahrain. Its compact desktop design allows businesses to read compatible proximity card numbers directly into supported computer applications, simplifying credential registration and routine identity-management tasks.
Operating at 125 kHz, the CR20E reads compatible low-frequency RFID proximity cards and outputs their card numbers through its USB interface. It is a read-only reader, intended for retrieving card identification data rather than writing information to cards. The reader is designed to work with ZKTeco proximity cards and compatible systems that use the corresponding card serial number format.
The USB connection provides convenient plug-and-play connectivity without requiring a separate power adapter. The reader operates on 5V DC supplied through USB, with a maximum current consumption of 80mA. Its specified reading range is up to 5 cm, depending on the card and operating conditions. A two-colour red and green LED indicator and built-in buzzer provide visual and audible feedback during card reading.
The CR20E features an ABS and PC housing with a textured finish for everyday desktop use. Measuring approximately 117.2 × 66.2 × 17 mm and weighing around 120 g, it fits easily beside workstations, enrolment desks, and administrative terminals. Its specified operating temperature range is -10°C to +70°C, with relative humidity support from 10% to 90%, non-condensing.
Suitable for organisations that manage proximity credentials, the ZKTeco CR20E USB Proximity Card Reader helps streamline card registration and identification workflows in offices, educational institutions, businesses, and access control administration environments.
