The Blackmagic URSA Cine 17K 65 Body is a revolution in digital film with an extremely large format 17520 x 8040 65mm RGBW sensor with larger photo-sites for 16 stops of dynamic range. The URSA Cine 17K 65 Body model is ideal when you have existing camera accessories that you want to use to create your own camera rig. It excludes top handle, baseplate, power supply, battery plate and LPL lens mount. It does come with an interchangeable PL lens mount, a dedicated assist station with a second 5″ HDR LCD touchscreen and industry standard Lemo and Fischer connections. The camera features a 50.81mm x 23.32mm 65mm-format sensor with a 2.9-micron pixel pitch and 16 stops of dynamic range. Its interchangeable PL mount supports optional URSA Cine LPL, EF and HC mounts, providing flexibility for different professional lens systems.
The Blackmagic URSA Cine 17K 65 Body supports 17K, 12K, 8K and 4K recording formats. High-speed recording reaches up to 60fps at 17K 2.2:1 open gate, 90fps at 12K 2.4:1, 100fps at 8K 2.2:1 open gate and 170fps at 8K 2.4:1. The camera has no built-in ND filters, allowing users to configure their preferred external filtration system.
