Teranex Mini IP Video 12G lets you convert SDI video to IP for routing over an existing Ethernet network, or convert IP video back to SDI in professional broadcast workflows in Bahrain. It combines 12G-SDI connectivity with the low latency broadcast-quality TICO codec for efficient IP video transport.

The converter features one 10-bit HD-SDI, 6G-SDI and 12G-SDI input, along with two 10-bit SDI outputs supporting HD-SDI, 6G-SDI and 12G-SDI. Gigabit Ethernet supports 3G-SDI video up to 1080p60 using TICO encoding and decoding, while optional 10G optical Ethernet supports Ultra HD video up to 2160p60. SDI inputs automatically detect HD-SDI, 6G-SDI or 12G-SDI, while all SDI outputs provide reclocking.

It supports HD, 2K, Ultra HD and 4K video standards, with SDI compliance including SMPTE and ITU-R standards. Video sampling supports 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 up to 4K DCI 30p, with 10-bit color precision. YUV or RGB is supported for inputs, while SDI outputs use YUV. The converter also supports SMPTE 352M video payload identification ancillary data.

Configuration and firmware updates are available through USB 2.0 or Ethernet. Blackmagic IP Video Setup and Videohub Router Control Software is included for Windows and Mac. An optional Teranex Mini Smart Panel provides a 2.2-inch LCD, rotary knob and six settings buttons.
