Blackmagic Media Player 10G is a broadcast-focused capture and playback solution designed for live production, replay and professional media workflows. It combines 12G-SDI connectivity, dual fill and key playback, 12G-SDI capture, Extended Desktop outputs and 10G Ethernet, allowing DaVinci Resolve to operate as a media player and replay system through a single Thunderbolt connection.
For users in Bahrain, the unit provides extensive SDI and HDMI connectivity with support for HD and Ultra HD standards up to 2160p60. It includes SDI video input, fill, key, loop, Extended Desktop and monitor outputs, plus HDMI Extended Desktop and monitor outputs. SDI supports 270Mb, 1.5G, 3G, 6G and 12G rates, while HDR workflows benefit from static metadata packing, HLG and PQ transfer characteristics.
Audio connectivity includes 16 embedded SDI input and output channels, 8 HDMI audio channels, two channels of balanced analog audio through 3-pin XLR connectors and a 6.35 mm headphone jack. A Sony-compatible RS-422 deck control port enables remote operation, while the built-in control panel provides six buttons, a spin knob and 2.2-inch color display for settings.
The Media Player 10G supports a broad range of professional codecs, including HEVC, DNxHR, DNxHD, Apple ProRes, AVC-Intra, XDCAM and uncompressed 8-bit, 10-bit and 12-bit formats. Thunderbolt 3 provides the computer interface, complemented by USB-C and 10Gb/s RJ-45 Ethernet.
Compatible with DaVinci Resolve, Fusion, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Avid Media Composer, it fits modern editing and broadcast environments.
