DeckLink Duo 2 Mini is a low-profile, multi-channel PCI Express capture and playback card featuring four independent 3G-SDI mini DIN connections. Each connection can be independently configured as an input or output, providing the flexibility of four separate capture or playback cards in one compact solution. It supports SD and HD formats up to 1080p60 and is designed for media playout systems, multi-screen digital signage servers and real-time multi-channel capture systems.

Both SDI input and output support 16 channels of embedded audio, while a Tri-Sync or Black Burst input provides synchronization. The card supports 525i59.94 NTSC, 625i50 PAL and a broad range of 720p, 1080p, 1080PsF and 1080i formats up to 1080p60. SDI video sampling supports 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, with 8, 10 and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 in modes up to 1080p30 and 8/10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all modes. 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 is supported during playback. HDR static metadata packing, HLG and PQ transfer characteristics are also supported.
Hardware-based real-time colorspace conversion is complemented by software-based HD down conversion, HD up conversion and cross conversion. The card works with Mac OS, Windows and Linux and supports applications including DaVinci Resolve, Fusion, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Avid Media Composer, along with numerous other professional applications.
