This new model features a 12,288 x 8040 full frame RGBW sensor with built in optical low pass filter, 16 stops of dynamic range, dual CFexpress media slots, all in a customizable body with flexible mounting options and side plates. The camera features a 35.64 x 23.32mm large-format sensor with 2.9-micron pixel pitch, 800 native ISO and 16 stops of dynamic range. Its active L-Mount supports iris and focus control with compatible lenses.
It records up to 12K resolution and supports project frame rates from 23.98fps to 60fps. High frame rates reach up to 40fps at 12K 3:2, 60fps at 12K 2.4:1, and up to 112fps at 8K/4K 2.4:1.
A 4-inch 1920 x 1080 LCD capacitive touchscreen provides 1500-nit brightness. Connectivity includes 12G-SDI, mini XLR, 3.5mm audio, USB-C and 10G Ethernet.
For recording, it provides dual CFexpress Type B slots and a high-speed USB-C port for external media. Blackmagic RAW and H.264 proxy recording are supported, with Blackmagic Cloud, FTP, SMB and Web Media Manager for network workflows.
