The PLUS P30 Multi-Currency Banknote Counter is designed for banks, exchange houses, retail businesses, and financial service providers that need efficient banknote counting and verification in Bahrain. Its 1+1 pocket design supports continuous processing by separating rejected or suspicious notes from accepted banknotes, helping streamline cash handling and reconciliation.
Equipped with image detection technology and dual Contact Image Sensors (CIS), the P30 supports accurate banknote recognition, denomination sorting, and counterfeit detection. Its sensor configuration can include CIS, ultraviolet (UV), infrared (IR), and magnetic (MG) detection, depending on the selected specification. These technologies help examine banknote characteristics and identify notes requiring further inspection.
The machine offers Auto Currency and Mix Currency modes for processing supported currencies. It handles five basic currencies—KRW, USD, EUR, JPY, and CNY—with support for up to 16 currencies through updates. Automatic country recognition simplifies operation when processing mixed banknotes, while currency conversion functions support multi-currency cash-handling workflows.
A 4.3-inch wide LCD touchscreen provides access to counting modes and transaction details. Operators can switch between functions directly on the screen, making it easier to manage counting tasks and review results. The dual-pocket configuration helps maintain workflow efficiency when notes are diverted for further checking.
The PLUS P30 is suited to businesses that require a compact currency discriminator with mixed-value counting and counterfeit detection capabilities. Its combination of image recognition, configurable sensor technology, and touchscreen controls supports organised and efficient banknote processing.
