The Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor EVF Kit is a versatile 5″ HDR touchscreen monitor with full camera control that can be mounted almost anywhere. Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor EVF Kit contains the monitor, foldable sunshade, locking USB cable, PYXIS Mounts and URSA Cine EVF mounts to attach the monitor to Blackmagic PYXIS and Blackmagic URSA Cine cameras. Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor EVF Kit includes everything needed to use the PYXIS Monitor as an electronic viewfinder in Bahrain.
The monitor features a 5-inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1500 nits of brightness and frame rates up to 60fps. Its rear-facing LED tally light provides clear recording status information, while the built-in accelerometer automatically rotates the image when the monitor is mounted upside down.
On-screen controls provide access to Monitor Overlays, frame rate, shutter, iris, timecode, ISO, white balance, tint, power, record start/stop, media, audio, focus, zoom, digital slate, and camera menus. Three assignable F1, F2, and F3 buttons can recall preset parameters or toggle functions such as focus assist, false color, zebra, frame guides, playback, and recording.
The kit includes the Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor Swivel Mount, Fixed Mount, Dovetail Shoe, and URSA Cine EVF Bracket. It also includes a rotating bracket with a 19mm carbon fibre rod and two short 15mm carbon fibre rods, providing flexible EVF positioning for compatible camera configurations.
Powered over USB-C, the monitor supports video, power, data, and software updates through its locking connector. Compatible cameras include Blackmagic PYXIS 6K, PYXIS 6K PL, PYXIS 6K EF, URSA Cine 12K LF, URSA Cine 17K 65, and Micro Studio Camera 4K G2.
