Fairlight Audio Accelerator with DaVinci Resolve provides ultra low latency for up to 2000 tracks, cascading bus management with FlexBus, real-time processing, and one coax MADI I/O supporting up to 64 inputs and outputs at 24 bit/48kHz. The single-width PCIe card connects to the Fairlight Audio Interface through a proprietary interface, synchronizing to house reference through the interface word clock, AES, MADI, or HD Tri-Sync or reference video inputs.
For professional audio production in Bahrain, the accelerator provides 1 x MADI input and 1 x MADI output via 75 ohm BNC, with support for the Fairlight Audio MADI Upgrade through SATA connectors 1, 2, and 3. It also supports the Fairlight Audio Interface through a multi-pin connector on the shield. The board uses a single half length PCIe x4 form factor.
The Fairlight Audio Accelerator supports 44.1, 48, 96 and 192 KHz sampling with minimum 32 bit floating point processing. Core Audio supports up to 2000 mono audio tracks at 48kHz, 1000 at 96kHz, and 500 at 192kHz. It provides up to 256 busses plus 512 bus elements at 48kHz, with recording and additional recording channels available across supported sample rates. Channel facilities include elastic wave time warping, sample rate conversion, six band EQ, expander/gate, compressor, limiter, direct out, clip-based EQ, plug-in support, in-place solo, and up to 16 VCA groups.
The accelerator supports FlexBus configurations up to 512 mono bus elements, up to 10 bus sends per channel and bus, automatic and flexible delay compensation, and monitoring from up to four simultaneous sources with up to 16 speaker sets. It supports Mac 13.0 Ventura, Mac 14.0 Sonoma or later on Intel Macs only, plus Windows 10 Creators Update and Windows 11. Power usage is 14W. Operating temperature is 0° to 40°C (32° to 104°F), with storage temperatures from -20° to 60°C (-4° to 140°F) and 0% to 90% non-condensing humidity.
