EKWB EK-Quantum Velocity² Direct Die D-RGB - 1700 Nickel + Plexi Water Block - 3831109897805

Unlock extreme cooling performance with the EK-Quantum Velocity² Direct Die D-RGB - 1700 Nickel + Plexi water block, meticulously engineered for the demanding Intel® LGA 1700 socket. This advanced cooling solution is exclusively designed for direct die cooling of 12th and 13th generation Intel® Core processors, bypassing the Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) for unparalleled thermal transfer. Experience superior heat dissipation in United Arab Emirates with its specialized direct die cooling engine. The microfin stack is optimized for the CPU die's concentrated heat source, featuring a thicker base to enhance heat absorption and transfer to the coolant. Crafted from the highest grade 99.99%-pure electrolytic copper, the coldplate is precision-machined and nickel-plated for optimal contact and efficiency. The aesthetic is completed with a CNC-machined cast Acrylic top piece, integrating seamlessly with D-RGB lighting for a personalized build.

Revolutionary Direct Die Cooling

Unlike standard water blocks, the EK-Quantum Velocity² Direct Die is optimized for CPUs without an IHS. The Z-axis dimensions are critically different, ensuring compatibility only with delidded CPUs. This direct approach significantly boosts heat density management, allowing for lower CPU temperatures and higher boost clocks. The engine features a reduced microfin stack, precisely focused on the CPU die area, ensuring maximum thermal conductivity where it matters most. This design is crucial for achieving peak performance from your high-end Intel processors.

Superior Materials and Mounting

The coldplate is constructed from 99.99%-pure electrolytic copper, nickel-plated for enhanced durability and thermal performance. The top is made from durable cast Acrylic, precisely CNC-machined for a perfect fit and stunning visual appeal. The included EK-Quantum Velocity² ILM Replacement - 1700 is a critical component that replaces the motherboard's stock ILM. This frame not only bolsters the structural rigidity of the socket and motherboard but also ensures even pressure application on the CPU die, preventing warping and improving cooling consistency. It also acts as a die guard, protecting the fragile CPU die from excessive pressure and is electrically insulated from the motherboard to prevent shorts.
