Blackmagic UpDownCross 100G is a professional 8-channel standards converter designed for advanced broadcast and IP video workflows in United Arab Emirates. It supports native SMPTE 2110 connections through 100G Ethernet and can convert up to eight separate SD, HD and Ultra HD video channels to different standards.

The unit features two 100G QSFP28 connections with SMPTE 2022-7 redundant delivery across two 2110 networks. It also includes a dedicated 1G RJ45 control connection for NMOS control, configuration and firmware updates. Each 2110 IP video stream supports 16 channels of embedded audio input and output.

Video support covers SD, HD and Ultra HD standards, including formats up to 2160p60. SMPTE compliance includes 2110-20, 2110-21, 2110-30, 2110-40 and 2022-7. The system supports 10-bit 4:2:2 YUV color with Rec. 709 and Rec. 2020 color spaces. Optional Blackmagic IP10 codec support is available for 2160p59.94 and 2160p60 2110 IP video.

The front panel features a 2.2-inch color LCD, three-button control panel and spin knob for monitoring video, audio, timecode, standards and menu settings. A headphone output, mono speaker and dedicated audio controls provide convenient monitoring. External control is available through RJ-45 Ethernet and USB-C.

Housed in a professional 1RU chassis, the converter uses two internal 100–240V AC power supplies and front-to-back cooling.
