The Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor is a versatile 5″ HDR touchscreen monitor with full camera control that can be mounted almost anywhere. It provides an additional monitoring and camera control option that can be mounted anywhere so it’s perfect for use when rigging or other accessories block Blackmagic PYXIS’ internal display. The bright 1500 nit high brightness screen makes monitoring easy, even in bright sunlight and includes a removable sunshade that also folds up to protect the monitor. Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor is easy to set up with a single USB-C cable connection for video, power and camera control in United Arab Emirates.
The monitor features a 5-inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 LCD capacitive touchscreen with up to 60fps frame rates and 1500 nits of brightness. Its rear-facing LED tally light provides a clear recording status indication, while the built-in accelerometer automatically rotates the image when the monitor is mounted upside down.
On-screen controls provide access to essential camera settings including frame rate, shutter, iris, timecode, ISO, white balance, tint, recording, media, audio, focus, zoom, digital slate, and camera menus. Three assignable F1, F2, and F3 buttons can recall preset parameters or toggle frequently used functions.
The Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor supports multiple mounting configurations with 1/4-20 and M4 mounting points on the bottom and sides, including ARRI locating pin patterns. It is compatible with Blackmagic PYXIS 6K, PYXIS 6K PL, PYXIS 6K EF, URSA Cine 12K LF, URSA Cine 17K 65, and Micro Studio Camera 4K G2.
Powered directly over USB-C, the monitor operates from 0°C to 40°C and supports 0% to 90% non-condensing humidity. It includes a clip-on sunshade and other essential accessories, making it a practical monitoring solution for professional camera setups across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain.
