DeckLink Duo 2 is a professional PCI Express capture and playback card featuring four independent 3G-SDI connections. Each SDI connection is bidirectional and can be independently configured as an input or output, providing the flexibility of four separate capture or playback cards in a single PCIe card. This makes it suitable for multi-channel video workflows, media playout systems, digital signage servers and real-time capture environments.

For professional video systems in United Arab Emirates, DeckLink Duo 2 provides four 12-bit SD/HD bidirectional SDI connections, with 16 channels of embedded audio available for both SDI input and output. A Tri-Sync or Black Burst sync input is also included for synchronization. The PCI Express 4 lane generation 2 interface is compatible with 4, 8 and 16 lane PCI Express slots.

The card supports SD and HD video standards, including 720p, 1080p, 1080PsF and 1080i formats up to 1080p60. SDI video sampling supports 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, with 8, 10 and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 in modes up to 1080p30 and 8/10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all modes. 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 is supported only during playback. HDR static metadata packing, HLG and PQ transfer characteristics are also supported.

Hardware-based real-time colorspace conversion is combined with software-based HD down conversion, HD up conversion and cross conversion. Down conversion can be selected between letterbox and anamorphic 16:9 styles, while up conversion supports 16:9 Zoom or anamorphic output.

DeckLink Duo 2 works with Mac OS, Windows and Linux and supports applications including DaVinci Resolve, Fusion, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Avid Media Composer and numerous other professional applications.
