The ATEM 4 M/E Constellation IP is an advanced live production switcher with a powerful design that is fully SMPTE-2110 native and uses high-speed 100G Ethernet connections. It makes it easy to add a converter for traditional 12G-SDI or modern SMPTE-2110 IP video connections. All IP video connections are fully redundant and SMPTE-2022-7 compliant. You get 32 inputs and 32 outputs, 16 ATEM Advanced Keyers, 4 multiviews, and 2 SuperSource processors for a total of 12 DVEs.

It features 8 x 100G QSFP28 connections supporting redundant IP streams across two 2110 networks, along with 10G Ethernet for NMOS control, reference networking for 2110 PTP clock, and 1G management Ethernet. The switcher provides 16 upstream keyers, 4 downstream keyers, 16 advanced chroma keyers, 2 SuperSource processors, 20 linear/luma keyers, 4 stinger transitions, 4 DVEs, 21 pattern generators, and 28 total layers. It includes 4 media players, 4 multi-view outputs, frame rate and format converters on all 32 inputs, and a 68-channel Fairlight Live audio mixer. SMPTE 2110-20, 2110-21, 2110-30, 2110-40, and SMPTE 2022-7 compliance enables professional IP workflows.
With dual internal 100–240V AC power supplies, redundant power, a built-in HD LCD monitor, and 2 rack-unit installation, this switcher is suitable for broadcast facilities, studios, live events, and large-scale production environments.
