The ingeniously designed S3 Midi-Tower from Zalman represents an affordable addition to the new S-series and impresses with its larger acrylic glass side panel. Premium quality brushed aluminum-look front and the pre-installed 120 mm fan help provide a consistent supply of fresh air throughout the case. Removable dust filters are present in the roof and bottom of the case. Last but not least is the attractive PSU shroud that helps keep the overall look of the case neat and tidy while allowing you to install a generous array of hardware.

The attractive exterior of the Zalman S3 is rounded out by the addition of a variety of clever little details that make users' lives easier on the inside. The case also provides a clean overall aesthetic due to the addition of a discrete PSU shroud and, of course, plenty of space for cable management to the rear of the motherboard tray. Up to two 3.5" hard drives or two 2.5" SSDs can be mounted without the need for tools and fit perfectly in a HDD cage behind the PSU. The rear of the motherboard trays allows for two further SSDs.

Underneath the PSU shroud lies space for power supplies up to a maximum of 180 mm in length. When it comes to cable management, Zalman has thoughtfully included six cut-outs as well. These enable users to neatly guide the cables of their system. A 120mm fan is pre-installed in the back of the case. The roof and the top of the PSU shroud allow for two additional 120 mm fans. In place of fans however, users can install a 240 mm radiator in the front and a smaller 120 mm radiator in the rear. The bottom and roof of the case come equipped with removable dust filters. The stylish front of the case has the look of brushed aluminium and includes effective sideways-facing air vents that optimise the overall airflow of the case.

The I/O panel includes a USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports. Multiple graphics cards up to 330 mm in length will fit in this premium quality case and this goes a long way to making the Z3 into the perfect foundation for a high-end gaming system. It also includes a large cut-out in the motherboard tray to help users install large CPU coolers in combination with a backplate, making heatsinks sit securely in place. The CPU cooler can be up to 156 mm tall.
