Teranex Mini Optical to HDMI 12G converts SDI and SMPTE optical fiber signals to HDMI, providing professional video and audio connectivity for broadcast and monitoring workflows in Saudi Arabia. It supports 3G, 6G and 12G-SDI optical fiber through an optional SFP module, allowing video to travel over long distances.

The converter includes one 12G-SDI input and an optional optical fiber input supporting SD, HD, 2K and 4K formats. The optical connection provides a 12G-SDI loop output, while the HDMI 2.0 output supports resolutions up to 2160p60. Optical input standards cover SD, HD, 2K, Ultra HD and 4K DCI formats, with automatic multi-rate detection.

For audio, the unit provides two channels of professional balanced analog audio through XLR connectors and four channels of professional 110Ω balanced digital audio through XLR connectors. The right XLR connection can also be configured for timecode output. Up to eight channels of embedded audio are supported.

SDI connections support standard definition, HD Level A and Level B 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI and 12G-SDI, with 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 sampling and YUV and RGB color spaces. HDMI output supports REC 601 and REC 709, with a 33 point LUT loadable through the Teranex Utility.

USB and Ethernet provide configuration and software upgrades for Mac and Windows systems. An optional Teranex Mini Smart Panel adds an LCD, rotary knob and six settings buttons. The converter supports 100–240V AC and 48V DC PoE+ power, with 16W consumption.
