The Blackmagic PYXIS 6K EF is an advanced digital film camera with an incredibly versatile design that lets you build the perfect camera rig for your production. This new model features a 6048 x 4032 full frame HDR sensor with built in optical low pass filter, dual native ISO, dual CFexpress media slots, all in a customizable body with flexible mounting options and side plates. The fixed locking EF mount works with Canon compatible photo and cine lenses, making it suitable for professional productions in Oman.
The camera features a 36 x 24mm full-frame sensor with 5.94-micron pixel pitch, 13 stops of dynamic range, and dual native ISO of 400 and 3200. It supports 6K, 4K, Super 35 and Super 16 recording, with frame rates up to 60fps in 6K 2.4:1 and up to 120fps in 1080 HD.
A 4-inch 1920 x 1080 LCD capacitive touchscreen provides 1500 nits brightness. Connections include 12G-SDI, mini XLR, 3.5mm stereo input, headphone output, USB-C and 1Gb/s Ethernet.
For storage, it provides dual CFexpress Type B slots and a 5Gbps USB-C port for external media. Blackmagic RAW supports multiple compression and quality options, alongside H.264 1080p proxies.
Blackmagic Cloud, FTP, SMB and Web Media Manager support professional network workflows, while Blackmagic OS and DaVinci Resolve Studio provide an integrated production and post-production ecosystem.
