Project bright, high-resolution images from short distances in educational environments with the BenQ MW855UST 3500-Lumen WXGA Ultra-Short Throw DLP Projector. It features 3500 lumens of brightness and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio. Additionally, this projector has a WXGA 1280 x 800 native resolution, and supports up to UXGA 1600 x 1200 video signals. The MW855UST is powered by a DLP chip system, and the lamp features a long life of up to 6000 hours in EcoSmart mode. Furthermore, you can use the MW855UST to project up to 100" images from just 32" away thanks to its 0.35:1 ultra-short throw ratio.
With S-video, RCA composite video, two VGA inputs, and two HDMI inputs, this projector is well-equipped for external video sources. It also supports MHL connections via HDMI. MHL allows you to mirror and charge compatible connected devices. The MW855UST features 3D support when paired with sold separately 3D content and glasses. Additionally, dual 10W speakers are built into the projector for powerful audio playback. For streamlined installation and control, this projector includes a wall mount and IR remote.
- Lens Shift for Installation Flexibility
- This projector offers additional installation flexibility by enabling installers to optically shift the image up or down up to 4% to overcome minor miscalculations during projector installation.
- Included Wall Mount
- The included wall mount offers Easy Slide rails for fast and secure projector mounting, an installation template to provide precise, easy-to-follow installation guidance, and front-of-mount control knobs to provide precise final image alignment.
- Corner Fit Correction
- Provides the ability to correct vertical and horizontal keystone errors introduced when the projector is placed off center from the screen. This is suitable for use during quick setup tabletop presentations. The MW855UST features ±5° corner for keystone correction.
- SmartEco Lamp Saving Technology
- The SmartEco mode dynamically adjusts lamp power to maximize power savings while delivering the optimized contrast and brightness performance using only as much light as needed.
- Eco Blank Mode
- The Eco Blank feature allows users to blank or mute the projected image on the screen, affording privacy to search for files or documents while the desktop is not projected to the entire audience. When activated, Eco Blank automatically dims lamp power, therefore lowering total power consumption by up to 70%.
- No Source Detected Mode
- No Source Detected mode lowers the projector's lamp brightness to 30% after the projector has remained unconnected to a display source for more than three minutes
- Projector Management Through LAN Control
- LAN Control is designed to help IT managers perform day-to-day projector maintenance and repair tasks by affording full access and control over every projector directly from their workstations. The MW855UST offers seamless support for the Crestron and AMX LAN Control system.
- Optional PointWrite Support
- Optional PointWrite support allows educators to turn any flat surface into an interactive whiteboard and get up to 4 students to simultaneously collaborate using sold separately PointWrite pens or plain fingers. PointWrite offers fast setup with 1 second auto calibration, ultra-fast 0.016-second response time for a smooth, natural writing experience, and Windows 8 native multi-touch and gesture support.
