The Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor Kit is a versatile 5″ HDR touchscreen monitor with full camera control that can be mounted almost anywhere. Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor Kit contains the monitor, foldable sunshade, locking USB cable and PYXIS Mounts to attach to Blackmagic PYXIS and Blackmagic URSA Cine cameras. The design of the PYXIS Mounts with a dovetail means the PYXIS Monitor can be quickly attached and removed from the camera. The mount makes it simple to position the monitor where customers need it without requiring tools to loosen bolts in Kuwait.
The monitor features a 5-inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1500 nits of brightness and frame rates up to 60fps. A rear-facing LED tally light provides recording status information, while the built-in accelerometer automatically rotates the image when the monitor is mounted upside down.
On-screen controls provide direct access to Monitor Overlays, frame rate, shutter, iris, timecode, ISO, white balance, tint, power, recording, media, audio, focus, zoom, digital slate, and camera menus. F1, F2, and F3 assignable function buttons can recall preset parameters or toggle useful functions such as focus assist, false color, zebra, frame guides, playback, and recording.
The kit includes a swivel mount, fixed mount, and dovetail shoe, providing flexible mounting options for compatible Blackmagic cameras. It supports Blackmagic PYXIS 6K, PYXIS 6K PL, PYXIS 6K EF, URSA Cine 12K LF, URSA Cine 17K 65, and Micro Studio Camera 4K G2.
Powered over USB-C, the Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor Kit supports video, power, data, and software updates through its locking USB-C connection. With its practical mounting system and complete included accessories, it is well suited for professional camera setups across Kuwait City, Hawalli, Salmiya.
