Blackmagic URSA Cine Studio Viewfinder is a large 7-inch HDR touchscreen viewfinder with full camera control, designed for use with URSA Cine in live production environments. In Kuwait, it combines a high-brightness HDR touchscreen with custom function buttons and physical knobs for brightness, contrast, and focus peaking.
The viewfinder features a 1920 x 1200 LCD touchscreen with 2000 nits brightness and supports frame rates up to 60fps. Its articulated yoke uses variable-tension pivots, while built-in grab handles allow the monitor to be positioned independently from the camera. A detachable and foldable sunshade helps improve visibility in bright environments.
For professional camera operation, the viewfinder provides full Blackmagic OS camera control through the touchscreen. Operators can access monitor overlays, frame rate, shutter, iris, timecode, ISO, white balance, tint, power, record start/stop, media, audio, focus zoom, digital slate, and camera menus. Dedicated brightness, contrast, and peaking knobs provide convenient physical adjustment, while assignable F1, F2, and F3 buttons offer quick access to preset parameters and functions.
The unit connects to compatible URSA Cine cameras using a single locking USB-C connection for video, power, metadata, camera control, and software updates. It also supports an additional 12V to 17V DC power input. The quick-release V-lock bracket attaches to mounting surfaces using two 1/4-20 screws.
