Cintel Scanner G3 HDR+ 8/16 is an advanced film scanning solution for 8mm, Super 8mm, 16mm and Super 16mm film, providing high-resolution capture and HDR scanning for professional restoration workflows in Kuwait. The scanner supports print, negative, interpositive and internegative film stocks in monochrome and color. It features a native resolution of 4096 x 3072, with effective resolutions of 2966 x 1781 for Super 16, 2464 x 1798 for Standard 16, 1390 x 994 for Super 8 and 1172 x 884 for Standard 8. Normal scans provide 12 stops of dynamic range, while HDR scans offer up to 3.5 additional stops.
Its rubber capstan transport supports continuous running from 1 to 30 fps, with shuttle speeds of up to 150 fps for 16mm and 200 fps for 8mm. A diffuse light source and cleaning rollers help reduce dirt and scratches, while the scanner supports film shrinkage tolerance of up to 2% and a 2000 ft capacity.
Cintel Scanner G3 HDR+ 8/16 includes HDMI 1.4 preview output, Thunderbolt 3 for image and audio capture, software updates and USB-C charging, plus professional analog and AES/EBU audio inputs.
