Cintel Scanner G3 HDR+ is a complete real-time film scanning and grading solution for professional film preservation and post-production workflows in Kuwait. It combines precision mechanical film handling, optics, a high-intensity diffuse light source and a built-in camera to deliver high-quality scans with gentle film transport. The scanner supports print, negative, interpositive and internegative film stocks in both monochrome and color.
The scanner supports a wide range of film gauges, including 35mm, Super 35mm, 16mm, Super 16mm, 8mm and Super 8mm. Its native resolution is 4096 x 3072, while effective resolutions vary according to the film format. Normal scans provide 12 stops of dynamic range, while HDR scans provide up to 3.5 additional stops. A diffuse light source and cleaning rollers help reduce the visibility of dirt and scratches during scanning.
The rubber capstan transport supports continuous running speeds from 1 to 30 fps, with shuttle speeds of up to 100 fps for 35mm, 150 fps for 16mm and 200 fps for 8mm film. It supports film shrinkage tolerance of up to 2% and has a capacity of 2000 ft. HDMI output provides 10-bit 4:2:2 preview video, while Thunderbolt 3 supports image and audio capture, software updates and USB-C charging.
Cintel Scanner G3 HDR+ integrates directly with DaVinci Resolve, allowing scanned film to be edited, color graded, reframed, noise reduced and processed for audio extraction.
