Designed for demanding live production workflows in Kuwait, the ATEM 2 M/E Constellation 4K supports HD and Ultra HD standards up to 2160p60, with 10-bit 4:2:2 processing and Rec. 709 and Rec. 2020 color spaces. Its 20 inputs include frame-rate and format converters, while the 12 SDI outputs can be routed for aux, preview, or other production requirements. The switcher also provides two configurable multiviews, two media players, 40 still images, and clip playback support.
For professional production control, it includes 8 upstream keyers, 2 downstream keyers, 8 advanced chroma keyers, 11 pattern generators, 2 color generators, and a SuperSource. The integrated 48-channel Fairlight mixer offers EQ, dynamics, level metering, master gain control, and audio-follow-video functionality. A USB-C webcam output supports 720p or 1080p at the program frame rate.
The rack-mountable 1 RU design also includes a front-panel LCD, emergency switching controls, Ethernet connectivity, talkback support, and ATEM Software Control for Mac and Windows.
