The ATEM SDI is a fast and easy-to-use live production switcher featuring four standards-converted SDI inputs, USB webcam output, two SDI outputs, a Fairlight audio mixer with EQ and dynamics, DVE for picture in picture, transition effects, green screen chroma key and a 20-still media pool for titles. It also includes free ATEM Software Control for professional switching and configuration.
For live production in Kuwait, the ATEM SDI provides four 3G-SDI, 10-bit HD inputs with video input re-sync and frame rate and format conversion on all inputs. It supports HD formats from 720p50 through 1080p60, along with 1080i standards, and provides two SDI program outputs. Ethernet supports 10/100/1000 BaseT for software control, updates and network panel connections, while USB Type-C 2.0 supports webcam output, software control and updates.
The integrated Fairlight audio mixer provides six inputs with two channels, selectable On/Off and Audio-Follow-Video, individual gain control, level and peak metering, compressor, gate, limiter and six bands of parametric EQ. The switcher also includes one upstream keyer, one downstream keyer, one advanced chroma keyer, two linear/luma keyers and one DVE.
The ATEM SDI includes one media player with fill and key support and storage for 20 still images in PNG, TGA, BMP, GIF, JPEG and TIFF formats. It supports ATEM Software Control on Mac and Windows and is compatible with a range of optional hardware panels.
With 4:2:2 YUV video sampling, 10-bit color precision, Rec 709 color space and real-time hardware-based color conversion, the ATEM SDI is suited for professional live production workflows across Kuwait City, Hawalli, Salmiya. It operates from 5° C to 40° C and includes an external 12V power supply and one-year limited manufacturer's warranty.
