Blackmagic GPI and Tally Interface - W-ATC-03

The GPI and Tally Interface adds tally functionality to ATEM switchers with 8 contact closure tally outputs. It allows tally signals to be sent to cameras, replay machines, and monitors, helping production teams identify which camera is on-air. Multiple GPI and Tally Interfaces can be connected together for additional tally outputs, with Ethernet connectivity providing a convenient connection to the ATEM production switcher.

Designed for professional live production environments in Saudi Arabia, the GPI and Tally Interface provides reliable tally and GPI connectivity for broadcast and studio workflows. It features a 25-pin D-type connector with 8 opto-isolated inputs and 8 relay contact closure outputs. The optical isolator inputs are triggered by connection to ground and support a maximum of 5V at 14mA, while the mechanical relay outputs provide contact closure to ground with a maximum rating of 30V at 1A. A 10/100 BaseT Ethernet connection with loop-through supports connection to other Ethernet-enabled equipment. The interface also includes a USB 2.0 high-speed interface for configuration and firmware updates. Configuration is handled through the ATEM Switcher Utility, with firmware built into the software driver and loaded during system startup or through updater software.

The GPI and Tally Interface includes a 12V power supply with international socket adaptors, making it suitable for professional installations and live production environments. It is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems and provides a practical solution for extending tally capabilities across cameras, monitors, and other production equipment.
