Mini Converter Audio to SDI is a professional SDI audio embedder designed to add balanced analog or AES/EBU audio to SD and HD SDI sources in Oman. It supports video formats up to 1080p60 and provides reliable audio embedding for professional broadcast and production workflows.
The converter features one SD, HD or 3G-SDI video input, along with an alternate SDI input for automatic switching if the main input is lost. Its embedded SDI output delivers the video signal with the selected audio channels included. Reclocking and automatic detection of SD, HD, and 3G-SDI signals help maintain stable signal performance.
Mini Converter Audio to SDI provides four channels of balanced analog audio input and eight channels of balanced AES/EBU digital audio input through ¼-inch connectors. This allows audio from mixers, analog decks, and other professional equipment to be embedded directly into an SDI video signal. It supports 525i59.94 NTSC and 625i50 PAL, along with a broad range of 720p, 1080p, 1080i, and 1080PsF formats.
The converter also supports 2K DCI standards including 23.98p, 24p, 25p, and corresponding PsF formats. SDI video sampling and color precision support 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, while YUV and RGB color spaces are supported. SDI audio operates at the television standard sample rate of 48 kHz and 24 bit.
Configuration and software upgrades are available through USB 2.0, with support for Mac and Windows systems. Settings can be controlled using mini switches or USB software. The unit consumes 8.40 Watts and operates at 12V DC. A 12V universal power supply with international socket adapters is included.
