The HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR is a professional 8K broadcast deck designed for high-end recording, playback, monitoring, and broadcast workflows. It supports native 8K and HDR with advanced H.265 recording, internal cache recording, 3D LUTs, and a large 7-inch HDR touchscreen. The deck features four SDI inputs and five SDI outputs, with support for SDI rates from 270Mb through 12G-SDI. It also includes HDMI 2.0 input and output, component and composite video input, professional balanced XLR audio inputs, RCA audio inputs, and dedicated timecode connections. Its 7-inch 1920 x 1200 LCD provides 2000-nit brightness and 100% DCI-P3 coverage for detailed HDR monitoring. Ethernet connectivity reaches 10Gb/s, while USB-C supports external recording and software updates.

Recording options include two CFast 2.0 card slots, an external USB-C expansion port, and an optional M.2 PCIe NVMe card for cache or internal recording.
