DeckLink IP 100G provides up to eight channels of Ultra HD video capture and playback to SMPTE 2110 IP broadcast systems through dual 100G QSFP28 optical Ethernet connections, delivering high-capacity broadcast connectivity in Oman. The dual connections provide full redundancy, while the card supports simultaneous capture and playback across SD, HD and Ultra HD standards up to 2160p60.
The card features two 100Gb/s QSFP28 connectors and a PCI Express 8-lane Generation 4 computer interface compatible with 8 and 16-lane PCI Express slots. A 6-pin 2x3 auxiliary power connector provides the required connection to the computer power supply.
DeckLink IP 100G supports professional codecs including AVC-Intra, AVCHD, HEVC, DNxHR, DNxHD, Apple ProRes 4444, Apple ProRes 422 HQ, Apple ProRes 422, Apple ProRes LT, Apple ProRes 422 Proxy and Uncompressed 8-bit and 10-bit video formats. Supported video standards include SD, HD, 2K DCI, Ultra HD and 4K DCI formats up to 60p.
The card supports 8 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2, REC 601, REC 709 and REC 2020 color spaces, along with HDR static metadata packing, HLG and PQ transfer characteristics. IP compliance includes SMPTE 2110-20, 2110-21, 2110-30 and 2110-40, plus SMPTE 2022-7 for redundant streams. IEEE 1588-2008 PTP v2, ST 2059-1, ST 2059-2, NMOS IS-04 and NMOS IS-05 provide timing, discovery and connection management capabilities.
Hardware-based real-time color space conversion supports professional processing workflows. The card works with Mac, Windows and Linux systems and supports applications including DaVinci Resolve, Fusion, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer and Autodesk Flame. Windows and Linux support up to eight Ultra HD p60 capture and playback channels, while Mac supports four.
