DeckLink Quad 2 features 8 independent 3G-SDI mini DIN capture and playback channels in a single card, providing flexible professional video workflows in Oman. It supports up to 8 independent capture or 8 playback channels, with each connector configurable for input or output. The card supports SD and HD video up to 1080p60, with 12-bit SD and HD support.

Designed for broadcast, post-production, live production and video capture applications, DeckLink Quad 2 includes 16 channels of embedded SDI audio input and output, along with Tri-Sync or Black Burst synchronization. Its PCI Express 8-lane Generation 2 interface is compatible with 8 and 16-lane PCI Express slots on supported Mac, Windows and Linux systems.

The card supports a wide range of professional codecs, including AVC-Intra, AVCHD, DVCPROHD, DNxHR, DNxHD, Apple ProRes, Uncompressed 8-bit 4:2:2, Uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2 and Uncompressed 10-bit 4:4:4. Video standards include SD, HD, 1080p, 1080i and PsF formats. It also supports 8, 10 and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4, YUV 4:2:2, REC 601, REC 709 and REC 2020 color spaces, plus HDR static metadata, HLG and PQ transfer characteristics.

Hardware-based real-time color space conversion, HD up/down conversion and cross conversion provide additional workflow flexibility. DeckLink Quad 2 also works with DaVinci Resolve, Fusion, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer and numerous other professional applications.
