The ATEM 2 M/E Constellation HD is a high definition live production switcher packed with advanced features. Its 2 M/E design includes 20 standards converted 3G-SDI inputs and 12 independent 3G-SDI aux outputs. It also provides USB webcam output, a SuperSource processor, DVEs, chroma keyers, media players, multiviews, built-in talkback and a professional Fairlight audio mixer with EQ and dynamics.
For professional live production in Oman, the ATEM 2 M/E Constellation HD supports 1.5G and 3G SDI rates with video re-sync and frame rate and format converters on all 20 inputs. It supports HD standards from 720p50 through 1080p60, with 4:2:2 video sampling, 10-bit color precision and Rec. 709 or Rec. 2020 color space. Any of the 12 SDI outputs can be configured as aux, preview or program outputs.
The switcher includes 8 upstream keyers, 2 downstream keyers, 8 Advanced Chroma Keyers, 1 SuperSource, 11 linear/luma keyers, 2 Stinger and 2 DVE transition keyers, 15 total layers, 11 pattern generators and 2 color generators. It also provides 32 routable windows with source labels and tally indication.
The ATEM 2 M/E Constellation HD features two independent multiviews, each configurable to 16, 13, 10, 7 or 4 views. Two media players support fill and key, 40 still images and 2 clips up to 1080p60. The front panel includes a built-in 2.2-inch LCD monitor, 22 LED buttons, source and transition controls, talkback selection, menu controls and front panel lock.
With a 48-channel audio mixer, 6-band parametric EQ, expander, gate, compressor and limiter, the ATEM 2 M/E Constellation HD provides advanced audio control. ATEM Software Control is included for Mac and Windows, while Ethernet and USB support configuration and software updates. Its rack-mount 1U design, talkback and mix-minus support make it suitable for professional live production workflows across Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Nizwa.
