The ATEM Television Studio HD8 is a compact live production switcher with a built-in broadcast control panel. It provides a fully featured broadcast-quality live production studio with 8 standards-converted 3G-SDI inputs, built-in streaming, a master recorder, multiview, USB webcam support, DVE, 4 ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyers, media players, talkback, a 4-way Ethernet switch and optional internal cloud media storage.
For professional live production in Oman, the ATEM Television Studio HD8 provides 8 SDI video inputs with re-sync and frame rate and format converters on every input. It includes 12 SDI outputs, 2 SDI auxiliary outputs, 1 SDI program output and 1 HDMI video output. Two USB-C connections support external drive recording, webcam output, software control, software updates and switcher connection.
The integrated broadcast control panel provides 10 direct cross points, 20 shifted cross points, dedicated macro buttons, transition controls, key buttons, AUX buttons, record and stream buttons, a fader bar, numeric keypad and 3-axis joystick. It also includes 4 upstream keyers, 2 downstream keyers, 4 advanced chroma keyers, SuperSource, 2 DVEs and 7 linear/luma keyers.
The ATEM Television Studio HD8 features direct RTMP streaming over Ethernet or a shared internet connection over USB-C. Recording is available to external USB-C media or optional internal M.2 flash memory, with program video recorded as an H.264 .mp4 file with AAC audio. Its configurable multi view supports up to 16 views and monitors program, preview, inputs, media players, DSKs, SuperSource, clean feed and audio meters.
