Corsair HX1500i 1500W

One of the most important parts of your gaming laptop is the power supply unit or PSU. Gaming monitor, gaming keyboard, and all components are important for a powerful gaming system, but the power supply unit is the most important component. It will power all other parts required for a powerful gaming rig.

Corsair has announced two new HXi units, each with a power capacity of 1000 W and 1500 W. The HX1500i has the optimum build quality and can bear heavy abuse without batting an eye. HX1500i uses a cutting-edge CWT platform, utilizing digital circuits for its remarkable functions. To achieve the desired levels of performance and dependability, Corsair spent a year modifying and fine-tuning the design.

The monitoring and control of the HX1500i through Corsair's iCUE application is made possible because of the use of digital circuits. The semi-digital platform enables iCUE software to control and monitor the PSU, which is the main component of the HXi units. You can switch between single rail and multi rail mode, regulate the fan speed, and keep track of the PSU's performance in the case of the HX1500i using iCUE. In addition to monitoring the PSU's performance, it allows you to choose between single and multiple 12 V rails with the help of software and select a fan speed profile that suits your needs. The ability of digital controllers to "talk" to the system and perform various functions is a bonus.

The HX1500i has a Cybenetics A- noise rating, which translates to an average noise output of 25–30 dBA, and is rated Platinum in the 80 PLUS and includes fluid dynamic bearing fans (FDB). The HX1500i is appropriate for a gaming system because few high-capacity PSUs can attain such a low noise rating. Before spending $400 on a PSU, you should make sure your chassis can tolerate its 200 mm depth because this is not a tiny PSU.

The  HX1500i kit does not have a 12VHPWR connector, but this is not a problem because you can get one from Corsair. Furthermore, NVIDIA made it clear that it is Ada Lovelace GPUs do not require PSUs that are ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 compatible. PSUs that adhere to the ATX 2.53 guidelines and have the necessary capacity won't have any trouble using adapters to power the future GPUs. I advise you to avoid using adapters and to purchase at least a 12+4 pin cable. The power supply appears to be under less strain thanks to the new DC-DC converters, which suggests that NVIDIA has resolved the power spike problems we observed with the RTX 3000 series products. All consumers will benefit from this, as the majority won't need to replace, at least now.

Ending Note

Corsair has announced a range of HXi units, which includes two models. One is 1000W, and the other is a more powerful 1500 W version. Both of these new power supplies have fluid dynamic bearing fans and are 80 Plus Platinum rated. They are created to handle intricate, high-power draw systems and include three EPS12V ports. Corsair uses premium Japanese capacitors throughout the design of these products and offers a 10-year warranty.

These new flagship models from Corsair include iCUE technology, which lets users control and change power settings as well as fan curves. When lower loads are applied, the new HXi range additionally uses ZERO RPM mode to stop the fan from spinning and to reduce noise.
