Operating on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, the CAP1750 AC1750 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Ceiling Mount Access Point from TP-Link offers enhanced wireless network connectivity supporting combined data transfer rates of up to 1750 Mb/s. In addition to dual-band connectivity, this access point also supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi network standard allowing nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to connect to the network.
Installation of the CAP1750 access point is simple as it comes with mounting options to attach it to either the wall or the ceiling. Regardless of where you mount it, the minimalist design of this AP keeps it out of sight and out of mind. To assist in the installation process, TP-Link designed this AP to support the 802.3at PoE network standard so it can derive its power directly from the network. Along with simplified installation, configuration has also been streamlined thanks to a variety of features including captive portal authentication, support for multiple SSIDs, band-steering for bandwidth allocation, load balancing, and enterprise-class Wi-Fi security.
