The Nigachi NC-6060UV/MG/WM/MGF Counterfeit Money Detector is a compact verification device designed to help businesses examine banknotes and other valuable documents in Kuwait. Suitable for retail stores, exchange houses, banks, and cash-handling counters, it helps users inspect security features on currencies, identification cards, cheques, passports, and other important documents.
The NC-6060 offers four detection methods: ultraviolet (UV), magnetic (MG), watermark (WM), and magnetic fibre (MGF) detection. Its two 6W UV tubes illuminate security features that respond to ultraviolet light, while the magnetic sensor helps identify magnetic ink features. A 6W white-light tube assists with watermark verification, allowing users to examine additional banknote security elements.
For closer inspection, the detector includes two magnifiers: a larger 3× magnifier and a smaller 12× magnifier. These provide different levels of magnification for examining fine details and security markings. The combination of lighting, magnetic detection, and magnification supports manual banknote verification across different currencies.
Designed for convenient daily use, the NC-6060 features an automatic on/off switch that helps reduce unnecessary power consumption. Its compact construction makes it suitable for placement on cashier counters and other work surfaces without occupying excessive space. The unit measures 276 × 150 × 162 mm and weighs approximately 0.9 kg, allowing it to be moved between suitable workstations when needed.
The detector operates on a 220V, 50–60Hz power supply and consumes 20W. It is CE approved and comes with a one-year warranty, according to the manufacturer.
