HID FARGO HDP5000e ID Card Printer & Encoder, 300 dpi - HDP5000e

The HID FARGO HDP5000e ID Card Printer & Encoder is a high-definition retransfer card printer designed for secure, professional ID card issuance in Kuwait. It uses HDP dye-sublimation and resin thermal transfer technology to produce crisp, photo-quality credentials with 300 dpi resolution. The retransfer process prints the image onto high-definition film before transferring it to the card, providing over-the-edge coverage and consistent results across different card surfaces. The printer produces up to 133 full-colour YMCK cards per hour.

The HID FARGO HDP5000e ID Card Printer & Encoder supports standard CR-80 cards and is compatible with PVC, composite PVC, composite, PET, PETG, and polycarbonate materials. It can be configured for single- or dual-sided printing, while optional modules provide single- or dual-sided lamination and a range of encoding capabilities. These include magnetic stripe, contact and contactless smart card, RFID, and proximity encoding.

For convenient operation, the printer features an intuitive SmartScreen interface that provides notifications and step-by-step guidance for setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Its modular architecture allows organizations to upgrade the printer as requirements change, including adding dual-sided printing, lamination, encoding, or additional card-hopper capacity.

Security is built into the HID FARGO HDP5000e ID Card Printer & Encoder through TLS encryption, resin scramble data protection, password protection, and fluorescent imaging capabilities.
