The viewfinder features a 7-inch high-brightness TFT LCD with 1920 x 1200 resolution and 2000 nits brightness. Its articulated arm and grab handles use variable-tension pivot points, allowing forward, backward, up, down, pan, and tilt adjustments. This lets operators position the display independently from the camera while maintaining a clear view of the action.
For live production control, the URSA Studio Viewfinder G2 includes rotary dials, knobs, and customizable function buttons for settings, shortcuts, and menu navigation. A large LED tally light with customizable camera numbers provides clear visual recording and camera-status information.
The unit connects directly to the URSA Mini's SDI monitor and 12V power output, reducing the need for additional cables or power supplies.
