DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K is a low-profile PCI Express capture card designed for professional video acquisition, featuring 6G-SDI and HDMI 2.0a inputs. It supports SD, HD, Ultra HD and 4K DCI formats up to 2160p30, with automatic detection and switching between supported video formats. Its compact design is suited to mobile live capture environments, broadcast trucks and other professional systems.

For capture workflows in Global, DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K provides one 10-bit SD/HD/Ultra HD switchable SDI input with 16 channels of embedded audio and one HDMI 2.0a input with 8 channels of embedded audio. The PCI Express 4 lane generation 2 interface is compatible with 4, 8 and 16 lane PCI Express slots.

Video support includes 525i59.94 NTSC, 625i50 PAL, 720p, 1080p, 1080i, Ultra HD up to 2160p30 and 4K DCI at 23.98p, 24p and 25p. SDI also supports 2K DCI formats. SDI video sampling provides 4:4:4 and 4:2:2, with up to 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 in modes up to 1080p60 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all modes. HDMI supports 4:4:4, 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 sampling with up to 12-bit Deep Color.

The card supports HDR static metadata packing, HLG and PQ transfer characteristics, while hardware-based real-time colorspace conversion is provided for the capture workflow. Software-based HD to SD down conversion and SD to HD up conversion are also available. Supported applications include DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Avid Media Composer and many other professional video applications.

DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K supports Mac OS, Windows and Linux and has an 8W power consumption.
