The ATEM SDI Extreme ISO includes all the features of the ATEM SDI Pro ISO while expanding connectivity with eight SDI inputs and four SDI outputs. It can record nine separate H.264 video streams in real time, capturing all eight clean feed inputs as well as the program video. A DaVinci Resolve project file is also saved, allowing the live production to be opened for editing and post-production.
For advanced live production in Global, the ATEM SDI Extreme ISO provides eight 3G-SDI, 10-bit HD switchable inputs with re-sync and frame rate and format conversion on every input. Four SDI program outputs support professional routing, while two USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 connections provide external drive recording, webcam output, software control, updates and panel connection. Ethernet supports live streaming, software control and network panel connections.
The integrated Fairlight audio mixer provides 11 two-channel inputs with individual gain control, level and peak metering, compressor, gate, limiter and six bands of parametric EQ. The switcher features four upstream keyers, two downstream keyers, up to four advanced chroma keyers, up to four linear/luma keyers and two DVEs with borders and drop shadow.
For recording, the ATEM SDI Extreme ISO captures eight SDI ISO inputs and the program output as H.264 MP4 files. Ten two-channel audio inputs are recorded as separate 24-bit 48KHz WAV files, while program switching is saved as a DaVinci Resolve project.
