G-Technology G-DRIVE Mobile Overview
Designed for those who need portable storage for their photos, videos, music, documents, and more, the 1TB G-DRIVE USB 3.0 Type-C mobile Hard Drive from G-Technology provides users with 1TB of plug-and-play storage and data transfer speeds of up to 130 MB/s. G-Technology has provided two types of USB cables with this drive, so it can access systems that sport a convenient USB-C or standard USB port. Both of the cables come with USB 3.0 micro-B interface on one end, and each of the cables has either a USB Type-C or a USB Type-A connection on the other side.
The G-DRIVE comes preformatted HFS+ for Mac OS 10.0 and later and supports Apple Time Machine and FileVault. It can also be used with Windows 10, 8.1, and 7 via a simple reformat, is powered solely using the USB bus, and comes housed in a black aluminum chassis.
